Eine biographische Skizze deckt die Hintergründe und die kirchlich-christlichen Hintermänner des grauenvollen öffentlichen Mordes an Hypatia auf.
Hypatia, im 4. nachchristlichen Jahrhundert in Alexandria lebend, kann als die intelligenteste und weiseste Frau der damaligen mediterranen Welt betrachtet werden. Selbständig tätig in Astronomie und Mathematik war sie die offizielle Lehrerin der platonisch-aristotelischen Philosophie in Alexandria, der führenden Stadt für Wissenschaft und Weisheit in jener Zeit. Eine solche überragende Weisheit wollte das zur Herrschaft gelangte Christentum neben sich nicht dulden. – In späteren Inkarnationen setzte sich diese Individualität für die Christliche Philosophie und mit großer Tatkraft für die Ausbreitung anthroposophischen Geisteslebens ein.
